Works very well and accurately. Good, clean interface. Great to launch when someone asks to borrow your phone :)
Well worth the $0.99 it costs, but I wouldnt say it was worth any more than that. I wouldnt suggest the seller raises the price to $2.99 as currently showing in the description (as of Oct 31/08).
As a collector of vintage rotary phones this was a cool must-have! The rotary dial even looks like a Western Electric 500. Would have been nice if there were a few more options in terms of the way the dial could look rather than just the 2 available. Also could do with # and * functionality - may be as separate buttons next to the dial.
This is a fun app, but you shouldnt get it because theres a one just like this thats free. Just saying...
This app is MUCH better than Rotary Dialer, the other retro phone dialer app. Ive tried both, and this one is better because it has sound and the dial stops at the mechanical stop, just like a real phone. This one is worth the money.
Ok, so I got both the free one and this one. This one has the sound of the rotor as well,(unlike the free one) and more importantly, it doesnt mess up and dial the wrong number like the free one. It doesnt have an errase feature yet, but you dont really need one since it works well, and I suppose that this will be in the updated version coming out soon anyway.
Great fun! This beats the free rotary dialer app because this one has sound, and that one doesnt.
Some bad moments
It wouldnt even open then I read the reviews and one person said it says $.99 but you will be charged $4.99 what
Boring, it doesnt have good graphics and all you do is call, and it should be free.
I like this app but it needs some upgrades like a back space button I like the free app much better
Cute idea but, for some reaon, this tries to connect after Ive dialed 3 numbers... Went to the website but dont see a way to get support...
New design is much less retro and cool looking. And there is no longer any way to personalize the dial center like you could in the earlier version.
why ruin a good thing? the app was great, before... before the update with slick/bland graphics. please, at least for those of us who purchased this for the retro phone look, give us the option of retaining that look.
